The word consistent is all over the place, you’ve heard it over and over again: Be consistent. But it’s time to reflect on what your consistency has been telling you?
Too often, we focus on the virtue of showing up, which is great, we believe that doing so in itself will eventually bring results. But here’s the truth: Consistency without evaluation is drudgery. You will soon wear out, get tired and get involved with things you have no business doing at all.
Data is one of the most valuable benefit of consistency. It’s not the prestige, or the pride you feel each time you show up.
Every time you show up, create, perform, or build you generate information. Over time, that data reveals patterns. And patterns are gold. They tell you what’s working, what’s not, what needs to evolve, and what you need to stop altogether.
Consistency was never meant to be blind loyalty to a method.
It’s not a badge of honour for doing the same thing over and over.
It’s a tool for learning, adjusting, and growing.
So, pause and reflect.
That business you’ve been running, that content you’ve been putting out, that skill you’ve been refining, what is the data telling you?
What trends have emerged? What have you learned?
Use this weekend to reflect on everything you’ve been doing, business, vocation, avocation, prayer sessions, your fashion, church attendance, job etc At the end if the week, month and year, you should pore over the data available to you and sharpen your inputs for efficiency and better results.
Consistency is a means to an end, it’s not an end in itself. It curves. It shifts. It evolves with insight.
Slow down and pay attention.
Yes I know, this is the shortest letter you’ve read from me but I hope this helps. Share this with your friends and let us grow this community. Have a blessed week and breakthrough from within.
