Let me help you to create abundance, see a common scripture in a different light and also help you with one of the most important instructions for your career, family and ministry in 2026.
The scripture is 2 Kings 3:17:
“For thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts.”
The first thing I need you to pay attention to is a DITCH or a VALLEY as used in the passage.
Think of it as a reservoir that is designed to collect water. It is used in ancient times to carry run off water during rain. They are collection corridors. The purpose of these ditches are ingenious, they prevent water loss, reduces evaporation and improve water volume.
Most people who pray with this verse pay most of their attention to the water and not to the valley, they do not have a ditch, those who have a ditch do not have functioning ditches to take the water which indicates the blessing.
Your ditch is your channel of blessing, your reservoir of income and your avenue of getting blessed. They need to be maintained. Some ditches are leaking, some are broken, some are inadequate.
The Blessing is ready to stay but there’s no ditch to contain it.
Fix your ditch!
You’ve abandoned some of your ditches. They’ve fallen so apart that they can’t take blessings. You wrote them off and stopped paying attention to them. They didn’t stop being a blessing, but you stopped maintaining them.
Because it’s been long they gave you alerts, as a matter of fact, they didn’t give you anything last year. They will this new year.
The instruction is: fix your ditches.
One of the similar analogies I got in my spirit is a TRAP. I know one or two things about traps, let me tell you.
When the hunter discovers a path that belongs to an animal, or the presence of game, he sets a trap. And even though that trap is empty, he doesn’t abandon it and expects to catch anything. He visits the trap EVERY DAY to check and repair the trap.
Repairing a trap involves setting the blades, repositioning the bait, and tightening the straps. A bad trap releases its prey back into the wild. Yes, you will just discover that your bait is gone and the prey has escaped.
If your ditch/valley is badly maintained, it WILL leak the blessing. Fix your ditches. Review your sales funnel, reroute your strategies, tighten your offer, and increase your collaboration.
I hope this helps?
Breakthrough from within and have an abundant New Year!
