If you are not excited by what God has done, then those things he did cannot bloom into more. Testimonies branch off into other testimonies, a thankful ground is a breeding ground for other miracles.
An ungrateful field grows no miracle. Gratitude is a manure. It’s a soil for growing new seeds.
Something new cannot grow where the last seed was neither acknowledged nor celebrated.
Thanksgiving nurtures miracles and makes it to give birth into other miracles
Lack of gratitude limits a miracle. It ensures that it does not fruit the second, third, or the fourth time. It cuts it short.
God is not a one time giver, He repeats the cycle again and again. But lack of gratitude puts an end to what He wants to do.
This doesn’t mean that God will not do another miracle if you’re ungrateful, it only means that you won’t see it when He does it because acknowledgement and gratitude enlarges a miracle.
What you don’t acknowledge does not exist in your reality, it cannot expand, it cannot multiply. Unacknowledged miracles become stunted, they die off soon.
I am convinced that miracles bud from existing ones. When you thank God for your life, everything that comes out of that life experiences a miracle. If you thank God for what you see, what you cannot see will be taken care of.
As a creative person, the gifts, talents and opportunities you don’t acknowledge cannot bloom.
Many people raced from the beginning to the end of the year running after bright lights, attractive things, shiny objects while they left their blessings I acknowledged. You must begin to develop a more careful and sensitive pair of eyes.
The people God gave you for nurturing, leverage and guidance, the skills he blessed you with to be a blessing to your generation, the experience you passed through for a purpose, the environment you live in for an assignment and growth, you look at them as if they mean nothing to you.
This is a very dangerous situation to be in. You need to take a break from where you are just in case you’re too used to your blessings and analyse the people, circumstances, resources, and environment you are surrounded with.
You cannot utilize your blessing if you don’t see it. The belief that the resources that will bless us are new is not true. Many of you have blessings that you’re not seeing as a blessing. Blessing exists in context. Miracles exist in perspectives. If you don’t see it as a blessing, it will not bless you, if you don’t see it as a miracle, it cannot lift you.
Many people have phones, a research machine, a productivity gadget, a mobile studio, an enhancer, and amplifier, an instrument of reach and access but it’s not a blessing to them. They don’t see it as a blessing. They are praying to God everyday for what their phones can do for them.
Some have social media platforms, a field of expression, a pulpit of influence, a cockpit of reach but it has become a veranda to lounge, waste time and gossip. I can go on and on.
ChatGPT has become a generational colloquialism for many. Instead of it being the smart assistant that its supposed to be, it is just there, wasting away for many. Some people have communities they are not leveraging, they have mentors they have gotten used to, teachings they disregard, grace they abuse. Gifts that’s ‘just there’ Resources don’t mean anything until it is UTILIZED.
No matter how huge, rare, expensive, useful the resources are. You cannot crack it open until you utilize them.
The meat of allocation is utilization. Utilization multiplies value and splits it into unbelievable expressions and products.
Gold is a perfect example. In its raw form, it is just ore in the ground. When it is recognized and utilized, it becomes jewelry, coins and bullion, used in electronics, medical use, aerospace and engineering, decorative arts and financial instruments. Same gold. Different forms. Different markets. Different value points.
The same thing with crude oil, in its raw state, it is thick, dark, and largely unusable. After processing, it turns into petrol, diesel, kerosene/Jet fuel, liquefied petroleum gas, lubrication oils, bitumen etc. Same crude oil, different products and expressions.
What are your resources?
Can you name them?
Reflect on these.
Have a great week and breakthrough from within.
