Harnessing the Power of Positive Affirmation
The most important point to start with is this,
“Positive affirmations are not magic wands, they are conditioners”
About two years ago, during one of my online sessions around the subject of positive mindsets, one of the attendees told me(more like an attack) that affirmations don't work, therefore she doesn't believe in it. I told her it's fine not to, however, it works. I engaged her further about her knowledge and application of the practice and I immediately discover that she didn't understand the art of positive affirmation.
Humans have complex psychology. It is a system that most people do not understand and may not understand till they pass from here.
Man himself could be a blockage and impediment on the path of manifestation. He is heavy with biases, beliefs, hurt, shortsightedness, lack of education and exposure, etc His senses could be a burden rather than a resource to him because of their finite limitation.
His mind could also be an instrument, contributing to his creeping attitude because he is a conductor, of frequencies, voltages, hurt, pain, fear, intimidation, and heartbreaks that have prod his life and experience.
For people who have seen life, what they've seen is not merely a scene or experience, it's a conditioning. We act and say it out without knowing. It forms our beliefs and how we see and respond to life. Our beliefs and experiences are the monument that stands on the path of manifestation, not witches and wizards. They are the one who tells you that you are not enough, that you should be afraid, that you will fail, that you are not beautiful, and that you cannot make an amount in business. That your marriage cannot work, that you can't make it, that an accident could happen or that something could break, that your partner will eventually cheat on you etc.
When you engage in positive confession, you're not majority speaking to some external elements, the universe, like most people believe even though that's a possibility. You're speaking to yourself to agree with what is possible and this is the major part. There's usually a conflict/disparity between what we ask/pray for and what we believe. Positive affirmation unites and aligns the conflict, because the more we align, the easier we manifest. You're speaking to put yourself in the mood for what you want. You're engineering your thoughts to agree with you.
Normally you'd think that our mind should support our good intentions, but that is far from reality depending on the experience I mentioned above. A good family is good, but if all I've experienced from birth is a chaotic family, I won't believe it no matter how beautiful it sounds. It will remain a concept. But I won't intrinsically believe that it can be mine. Our minds respond to what we have experienced and have told it to believe over time. Even though some of them are working very hard, they believe that wealth is not for them, or that is it tough to acquire it. Some don't believe in long life just because they've seen many deaths, the example is endless.
So when you affirm positivity or write out some affirmation to recite often, you're correcting a mindset impairment. You're conditioning your mind to align with what you want and to reduce the conflict that is blocking your manifestation. You're teaching yourself to expect that good things will come always and to be satisfied if it doesn't come at your pace. You're building confidence at the cost of your believe. It's not a magic wand or some metaphysical activity. Have a positive week and breakthrough from within.
I’d love to hear from you.
