Why is it difficult to explain to people that everyone is trying to take a slice of what is available (resources) in the universe to express and showcase their stuff(whatever that means) Everyone is digging in the minefield to get gold for their jewellery. Everyone is In the warehouse to buy produce for retail. Everyone is in the clay field to get some clay for their pots.
Your call is to find out what you are supposed to put out, to be doing, the conversation you're supposed to be initiating. As a man on assignment, you have little or no business with what others are doing to perpetuate themselves or express themselves. You have no business with labelling or calling names. Everyone has their chance, their spot, their gifts, and they're using it how they deem fit. Debating on what others are doing is fairly a waste of time and resources. Show what you're made of by doing it. Keep the rant, and forget the tantrums, this is not the time to be a judge. Put your work out there. Let it take up all the space it should. Put your business there, let it get all the customers it should. Put your ministry out there, let it reach those you intend it to make. No other thing matters than this. The world is our space for all the time we will be here. The platforms are ours for use. This is a golden opportunity.
Doing what you are supposed to be doing solves more problems than talking about what others are doing. Don't pick a ministry by ranting and engaging in fruitless conversation. This will deplete your energy fast without returning anything to you. If there's nudity in your environment, promote chastity. If the people around you consume too much junk food that endangers their health, start a nutrition program. If there's a gap anywhere that you can fill in any industry where you have interest, skill, experience, or desire, start filling the gap with a product, service, or initiative. Complaining produces nothing but sleepless nights and endless headaches.
Even John the Baptist didn't spend all his time complaining about the brood of vipers in his time, he kept on baptising people into repentance. If he didn't, the brood of vipers would multiply right before his eyes. Complaining is a mismanagement of attention and focus. It uses up the space for meaningful engagement and innovation when you're supposed to be exerting yourself for results. That is not to say that there's no evil in the world or things to complain about in our environment but it pays to invest all that energy into doing what is important; fixing the problem. Complaining squanders the time for creative thinking and innovative imagination. By the time you're done complaining, you're exhausted and hopeless.
Complaining takes hope away.
Have you ever been at the newspaper reading stand? It's popular in the country where I live at the moment. People gather round and give commentaries majorly on the hopelessness of the country written boldly on the pages of newspapers. They argue tough for hours until they are exhausted. They fight for the position of the best debater. And after Everything is said and nothing is done, they drag away slowly to return the next morning. There is something I see in their eyes when they depart - hopelessness. They have spent an unbelievable amount of time detailing, expanding, painting, colouring, amplifying, exaggerating their realities so much that it has become heavier, more intimidating, more indelible in their minds. These men carry a granite load of negative impressions in their minds so much that nothing is possible, fixable, or solvable in their current situation. Even if you don't join the Free Readers Association to argue, how about the little complaints and conversations that blow out hope in your heart?
Remember this always, you're a man on assignment, your problem leads you to your resources. Have a great week and a breakthrough from within.
