God gave you gifts and a vision based on the assignment He gave you, but you saw a beautiful 'brand’ on the Internet and adopted it as your new direction. You are playing with extinction! Go back to the basics. He didn't call you to what was beautiful. He called you to what He sent you!
There is a direct proportionality between your gifts and what God calls you to do. Many have not paid attention to this detail and the trajectory of their journey, so they are lost, confused, or unrooted. On the surface, what we do looks, feels, and sounds similar but it's not. There are broad categories like speaking, writing, teaching, coaching, fashion, architecture, and stuff. The industry may look the same but the goals each business and brand sets to achieve are starkly different. But it doesn't seem so on social media because everyone uses the microphone, has a blog, teaches in a school, starts a church, has a business, starts a foundation, gets a coaching certification, sells a digital product, has a website, runs an Ad, etc.
While most of these things are a necessity and generically required for you to operate. What drives them are as distinct as our fingerprints. The ones who truly succeed and progresses have a clear direction about the products they are creating and their audience. Other ones are merely following the crowd which doesn't seem like a crime. However it has its consequences. People who follow the crowd are mostly lost, lack initiative, creativity or genuineness or idea. They may have the crowd but they are not connected to purpose. If you are not connected to a purpose, you cannot make real impact.
Impact building is not a patchwork. It's a holistic contribution that goes into people's core. It's not a superficial touch. Impacts are sustainable contributions that people can point to. You can't build people and institutions by replicating formulas and slapping aesthetics on your brand.
The concept of God and gifts is not as complicated as most people think. It is not even a religious idea. Purpose is not an automated voice attached to a GPS system that directs your every move. Not in that way. You don't have to be super spiritual. It's a knowing that is based on both your reflection on, assessment of, development, and deployment of the resources in your care. This is your strongest hold. It is your moat.
Some of you got it clear when you started. The confusion came when you got to the marketplace, when you came under the vibration of other people's influence and instantly felt all you've been building is not right. Go to the basics.
Take a piece of paper and ask yourself:
1. What is/are my gift(s)?
2. What's the message I’m sent to pass?
3. What is the impact or what's the assignment i’m supposed to do?
4. Who are the people i’m sent to?
Doing these will help you to retrace your steps back. Following tracks you didn't know where it started will lead you nowhere but in confusion. You have a path worth following, a gift worth grooming, a life worth living, a ministry worth doing, and an impact worth making. The fact that you haven't started or you haven't grown big doesn't mean you're on the wrong path.
This year as you move along the streets of your life, career, business, or ministry. You will see lots of shining but shallow objects. Don't lose your true path and assignment because of it. Have a great week and breakthrough from within.

This made me understand that I have not been putting out gibberish write-ups all along. All I have to do is find my purpose and more importantly go back to the basics.
Thank you, Sir.
This couldn't have come at a better time in 2025. Thank you coach.
