Why do you hoard your gifts, talents, skills, potential and general capabilities? Why are you not consistent with sharing your gifts with the world? This piece will knock that lethargy out in 2 minutes. There’s also a pass to my free session if you read to the very end.
The problem of not sharing your talent starts when you begin to think that you own that talent, skill or gift. The selfishness that pushes people to think that they have some kind of power over their gifts is what kills/limits talent. If something is not yours, why do you keep it? Take yourself out of the equation, you don't matter like that.
So it's not about how you feel, who accepts you, who didn't, who clapped for you, who didn't, who noticed, who didn't, who celebrate you, who didn't. Things become a lot easier for you when you think about your gifts, talent, grace, capabilities through the lens of those who need it the most. The lethargy of indecision, lack of confidence and holding back will all disappear. This is how I’m thinking now as I am scribbling this letter to you. I didn't want to do this, I don’t want to be in the limelight, but think about how this information and resources will go to waste if I don't share. I thought about how one day my shaky hands will not be strong enough to write letters to you again. How my mind would be tired and all I would love to do is watch my grandchildren play. Sack yourself from being the judge of anything. Let your audience decide.
If you think about the world and the people in it who need your contribution to make it better, you will clear your draft, and stop hoarding your craft, contribution or creativity because you don't feel like it. Who says your opinion matters? If something is not your own you keep it away from where you are hiding it. Hand it over and let those it is meant for decide whether they like it or not, value it or not, accept it or not, just keep sharing.
I will repeat this again so it sinks. That gift, talent, skill, experience, capability, and value is not for you to keep. Take it out of your little box, draft, wherever you keep it. You are doing too much! Do not be a spoiler. Is it until this gift of writing, speaking, drawing, sewing, singing, leading, selling rots, deteriorates and decomposes that you will remember to bring it out?
Gifts are not yours to keep, it is for others to enjoy.
There’s no economic sense in hoarding a perishable asset like talent. The resources that go into manufacturing and deployment to you will be wasted if you keep hoarding it. I’d like to add that if it enters into demurrage, that is if it goes past its clearance time and you refuse to clear it, you will pay dearly for it.
Things get better for those who use their talents and capabilities, they make impact, influence and/or wealth. Their voice gets heard and the world becomes better for it.
Finally, I want to invite you to my exclusive monthly private virtual session on how to share your gifts profitably and effectively on the 27th of July. Send a message to Gloria to register.
Have a great week and breakthrough from within!

This is so true, reminds me of time when I was paranoid of what people might think, but invalidating that though over and over again has been one of best thing that has happened to me yet, and just like you have said rather than think about who will see, thinking in the lines of those who needs is key. Reading this is a good reminder. Thank you for sharing, sir🤭
Thank you Coach!
